The first thing that caught my eye about this picture is the very cool bluish color palette, which is fitting for a shrine as a relaxing place. I also like how this picture is both symmetrical and asymmetrical. You took the picture with a tree on either side but in a light that is more visually appealing than total symmetry. You were able to include a lot of interesting textures in a way that flowed naturally together, from the smoothness of the roof and ground, the wispyness of the sky and the leafy trees. What kind of trees are they? As I looked closer I saw the faint outlines of the people, that at first I didn't know what they were. I think it works well with the rest of the picture, showing that it's not deserted but maintaining the full beauty of the shrine My one suggestion would to be to photoshop out the handicap sign and the sign next to it, since they are both very white it's a little distracting. I hope this comment is can be helpful to you, all around great picture
Hello Owly, thank you for your detailed critique Iīm happy you like the pic. Unfortunately I am not sure what kind of tree they are but maybe they are Camphor trees. I donīt know if I can Photoshop the signs out without any fragments left. But I will give it a try.
